All-American 30-Quart Pressure Cooker/Canner
By Zoo-mom
There is nothing I don’t love about this canner. I’d recommend it over and over again for anyone who does a lot of canning. It used to be a long, drawn out task to can because we do so many quarts at a time. This cuts my canning time in half with it’s 14 quart capacity, and I love that it has no seal to mess with and replace. Worth every penny!!!

All-American 30-Quart Pressure Cooker/Canner

This canner is awesome. It will last my family for generations. If you want something that will can large amounts of food for a long time this is it. It is rather large and very heavy but that is what I wanted. If you want something smaller be prepared to be able to do less at one time. It just barely fits between the oven and the microwave so I went out into the garage and used the turkey fryer to can. All of the heat stays outside. I called customer service afer I chipped the handle and they took care of it by sending a new one out. They also answered a long list of questions that I had about canning without showing any impatience. I am very happy with it. Thanks

I have used this canner quite a bit with absolutely excellent results. I’m already saving up for the 40 qt. model. I simply can’t praise this canner enough. It’s rare to see this kind of quality of design and manufacturing.
Once you own your jars, home canned in cheaper and definitely of better quality than store bought. This canner is the best investment a cook can make.

The quality of these All American canners are absolutely top of the line and easy to work with. Once purchased, you have a canner for life. No gasket seals to be replacing. Wonderful. I have one already and am getting a second so I can tag team between the two when canning this summer. You can’t beat this piece of kitchen equipment. This is the top of the line for canners.

All-American 21-1/2-Quart Pressure Cooker/Canner
By P. Salazar
I’ve had this puppy for two years now and use it regularly to sterilize quart jars, and it hasn’t let me down yet. I previously had a presto canner that used a rubber gasket that eventually lost its sealing capacity in about two years. This canner doesn’t use a rubber gasket, so you don’t have to worry about replacing it every couple of years.
There is one curiosity though. When I bought it on amazon in 8/05, it only cost $139. It seems they’ve hiked up the price a full benjamin, but its still worth the price.

All-American 21-1/2-Quart Pressure Cooker/Canner
By Bunny Norell “Packerfan”
I owned an All-American pressure canner 30 years ago and the performance and ease of use is better than ever. I gave away all my canning products when I moved to the big city and lost my garden, but I’m back in the country now and had a bountiful harvest this year. I can feel confident that my homemade spaghetti sauce will taste as good 6 months from now as the day I canned it. But be sure to read all the instructions, it’s essential to lubricate the areas shown in the manual to ensure ease of lid removal. I would recommend this product to anyone who’s serious about preserving the fruits of their labor.

This is a fantastic canner. This 21.5qt size is perfect, fits under my average height range hood with plenty of clearance. It also allows me to process quit a few jars at once, which is a huge plus. So easy to use, I can not stress this enough. Everything about it is just fantastic. It is a pleasure to use, I feel like I have a new favorite toy. You will not be disappointed with this one.

This is a great product. I’ve used it several times to put up beans from the garden. This model allows me to put in seven quarts at one time. If I wanted, I could stack fourteen pints into the canner. The metal to metal seal works great and it is easy to get the lid on evenly. The weighted pressure valve is a very safe way to regulate the pressure. I would highly recommend this type of pressure cookers to anyone.

We’ve had our pressure cooker for all of a week and have already canned and cooked in it. This product is absolutely the finest quality; sturdy and well constructed. We love that there are no rubber seals to deal with and the lid is very secure when in use. And you have to appreciate that it is made in our own U.S of A, with replacement parts easy to get and not at all pricey. We just can’t say enough about the All-American company or their product. You can feel confident in this purchase.

All-American 21-1/2-Quart Pressure Cooker/Canner
By javajunki “javajunki”
If you are like me then chances are you grew up hearing horror stories about exploding pressure cookers. As a child I actually met a neighbor woman who was the victim of severe burns due to a faulty set-up and never forgot how painful it appeared. On the other hand, I’m from a long line of people that created the most delicious homemade preserves, jams, jellies, vegies, stews and other fantastic delights in their own kitchen.
With the cost of groceries growing exponentially and the taste declining nearly as fast, I’ve been interested in canning and preserving for several years but was always fearful of the pots and disliked having to track down elusive gaskets and seals. This pot came up for sale and I decided to give it a try. Excellent choice!
The is no need for gaskets or seals prone to go bad and cause burns; not to mention the inconvenience of finding them or having to replace a pot because they are no longer made. The lid bolts down tightly on the pot and cannot be released until cooled sufficiently. A large pot, this can hold a substantially amount…any larger and I probably wouldn’t be able to lift this when filled. It’s a heavy, solid and very well built piece of kitchen equipment. As others have mentioned, it feels “industrial” in quality and is likely to last far longer than other models.
This item cost more than others on the market and with good reason; first, it is built to last. Next, you will spend far less in the long run by not having to find replacement gaskets or be forced to replace this item for years [from the look of it..decades. I wouldn't be surprised if you will be leaving this item to the grandkids as part of their inheritence]. Finally, it feels safe…even for those a little leary of pressure cookers like myself. Excellent quality that will pay for itself many times over.
